When the
first I saw cover of this book, I thought this book worth for Junior High
School student. But when I already read only half of the first chapter, I
started to like this adventure story. This book is very light in terms of both
language and stories. Four teens and one dog who are always involved in many
cases. The writer try to bring us into the adventure, even I can hear my heart
beating. Surely readers will be curious what will happen next. In each chapter,
there is a sketch that illustrates what is being done by the Famous Five. So, readers could imagine the figure of Famous Five and their
locations in action.
Weaknesses (-)
Arguably, the story presented in this
book is just simple. Although intriguing, the story in this book is not a big
adventure and extraordinary. However, this is understandable considering the
characters in this story are still children.
